“Where….Where am I?” Lina said, as she floated in nothing but space. “ How can I breathe? What is this place? Am I dreaming?” As she looked around, she noticed that there was a single blinking light. “H..Hello?” she said, curious and frightened at the same time. She found herself being drawn to the blinking light.
As she neared it, she heard a voice calling to her, “Lina… Lina……” She recognized the voice, “ Mommy?” she cried, “ Is that you?” There was no response at all. She than reached the blinking light. It was a star. She than looked to her pendant her mother had given her before she passed away. “ It’s the same!!”
Then something happened, the pendant disappeared and became a beautiful sword. “ That, my dearest, is the sword Luciendar. She will guide you on a quest to save your kingdom. Your father and I have kept it safe from harmful forces, now you must take on my burden. As you know, you father defeated Diablo and destroyed Mez’s brother. Well, my child, Diablo has returned to this land. We are not there to protect your kingdom. You must battle and over come him.” her mother began. “ But, I though dad killed Diablo,” Lina said. “ Indeed he did. But he was resurrected by an evil force. Geen and I are here for you, just call upon us,” her mother cont.
“ Go to the land where Kururu, the fairy was killed. There you will find your power and magic,” Lindsey, her mother, then said. “With Luciendar and the power I gave you, this kingdom will be safe again.” “ But… but.. mom!” Lina said. “ no buts my child, I cannot stay. Good luck on your journey Lina. And take care,” her mothers voice faded away. “ Mom!!” Lina yelled, as she herself began to fade. And as she woke up from her dream, her little brother came running in to tell her of Diablo. She nodded, “ It’s time I stopped running, and started fighting. For my kingdom and my parents honor.” As she said that, the sword that she was given in the dream, appeared before her. “ Sis…. Is.. is that Mom’s sword?” Aderes said, in a surprise. She grasped it with a firm hand and she set out to destroy Diablo.
On the road, she met a very good but old friend, Kururu. “ Ku… could it really be you?” Lina said. “It’s good to see you again. I haven’t seen you since the great battle,” Ku said. “Did you hear? Diablo is back,” Lina said.
“What??” Ku said, “ Diablo Is back? Oh great!! Where’s Geen and Kilgorin when you need them?” “ Well, mom and dad gave me Luciendar. They think I’m ready for the responsibility.” Lina said to Ku. After agreeing, the two set out to defeat Diablo. Months later, they returned to the kingdom with the head of Diablo, and finally the spirits of Lindsey and Geen could rest in piece. And the land lived in peace for all eternity.
