    Oh all right…............ lol!

    It’s Gigi – no not like French Gigi but phoenitically it would look like Ghee – ghee – a hard G. My grand daughter couldn’t say grandma when she was very small and that’s what came out and it stuck.

    Now that she and her brother are 5 and 6 I’m trying to sway them to the more sophisticated Gigi but they aren’t buying it. Ah well….... at least it’s original. ;-)

    That’s funny, those names seem to stick pretty early on! My daughter had a special blanket that she took with her everywhere and her name for it was her ghee ghee (pronounced the same way yours is)! As time wore on so did her blanket and pretty soon it was called her “holey ghee ghee”!
