When the town finally burnt down
some say it was around 1959
you can still see them standing today
in the doorway of the old bakery

it reminds me of a song I wrote many years back
called He’s too over the Yarra for me….about a boy from stklida in love with a girl who lives in fitzroy….it’s very touching
