Evocative, beautiful. The song Stranger on the Shore starts playing in my head when I look at this lovely scene! Wonderful compositon!

Oooh, such sadness in the lone figure on the beach….Looks as if she is about to walk straight off into the sea….But there’s also a feeling of hope as those rays are breaking through the clouds…Beautiful work, Michael!!!! :)))

“Can you feel it now that spring has come.
And it’s time to live in the scattered sun.
    Waiting for the Sun,
    Waiting…. Waiting…. Waiting…. Waiting….”

I wish it was me in your photograph Michael, it’s beautiful :-)

  • One day when you return for a visit it will be! I love taking those contre-jour shots with the light so dramatic. Glad you like it too, Stanza. Thank you for the poem, too!
