I’ve loved Shan’s glamour girls and wicked redheads from just about the start of Bubble and then her Dark Angel inspired my When Stars Fall ... discovering we were both drinking port on the same summer night was simply a gracenote to an ongoing random discussion that forms the spine of my Siren’s Gate ( @ RB ) series. So if pirates/hellions of the high seas sail into the Gate, don’t be surprised.

She tells me the corncob pipe makes me look literary as well as dangerous and keep out of my way
