Natural sand pattern left by receding wave on a steep sloping beach. Five Mile Beach, Wilsons Promontory National Park, Victoria, Australia. Contrast enhancement only. Resemblance to a primordial forest with primitive type trees is fascinating. Patterns are renewed with each incoming wave and tricky to capture at the best moment before the next wave wipes it over and drains out again. Each ‘picture’ only lasts a few seconds.
