Healesville area fires, Yarra Valley, Victoria, 22.48 hrs, 9th Feb 2009 from Yarra Glen. Mount Riddell is on the right. Taken under bright (near full) moon light.
OMG, this is amazing, and yes, very frightening capture, looks like what I would imagine hot lava would look like moving across the land. Such a sad chain of events with our bushfires and the floods also! My heart goes out to all those affected by them.

Wow! I am saddened to hear that this is happening. So much life lost and think of all the animals that have lost their lives and homes as well.

It brings such emotion when you are a Victorian and know what this fire did.
