Thanks. It had been more thickly shrouded in fog prior to this fleeting transient moment. The sunlight very quickly dissipated the mist so much that it became a much more ordinary scene once again. Light from a bright blue sky above illuminated the shadows. Ultra violet light recorded by film in the shadows accentuates the blueness. The sun was rising over the ridge to the left. Out of dozens of very early morning jaunts to the Dandenongs this is my favourite image captured there.
It’s been a Parks Vic poster before with several thousand copies sold. Now out of print. It’s also appeared elsewhere in advertising and print media as well as greeting cards.
