Need I explain? I think not. This is not a hard one to figure out.. well, for MOST people.
Is it just me
Or am I rightfully pissed
Am I over reacting
Is there something I missed?
You’re a father now
Grow the fuck up
You wanted this too
Here’s your tough luck
I know that for you
This is all such a chore
I’m not the fool
That you take me for
You make me sick
My stomach churns
They’re reaching for you
For their daddy they yearn
Open your eyes
And open your heart
If you don’t do this soon
You’ll tear us apart
How many times
Must I beg this of you
I can’t be much clearer
When will it get through?
When the room is silent
When there’s laughter no more
When your house is so clean
Not a speck on your floor
Will you be happy
To have kept all your pride
With your precious dogs
Bowing at your side
Cos they don’t talk back
Or mess up your life
They follow your orders
Unlike your wife
Or children of two
Who crave attention
Better not give it
That way they’ve won
‘Toughen up’, you say
‘Discipline’, the key
Who will you discipline
If we’re gone…
