An Aussie through and through – born Sydney, lived Melbourne for last 35 years. Love this country. Love travellng, photography, reading, family and friends – not necessarily in that order! Other hobby is Family Tree research. Love that too – skeletons and all.
Given my first camera at the age of 10 in 1952 – funny little box with a huge horizontal viewfinder on top and viewed subjects from waist level. Thus focus was not marvellous and film expensive, so shots were limited to some extent. Progressed to a German camera when 20; Canon at 50 and digital at 60. And now, at 65, a Sony alfa 350 with a Tamron 18-200mm lens. Wonderful. Will let me do the type of photography I love. I hope you enjoy the results!
No formal photographic training. Just like to capture magic moments to relive later and hopefully give pleasure to others. Thanks to RB for this wonderful outlet! And thank you for viewing my work.
