Another winner gabriele, very clean cut, almost looks digital. Great colours and comp. What kind of wood are you using? Found or bought?
Thanks, Jai. Those wood panels are bought (and 4 cm deep) and I had expected that people can see all the scratches and wounds I did to the surface – using knitting needles, skewers, pot scratchers and an electric sander. But maybe the monitors are not able to show this?
I looked closely in large format but it doesnt really come through, a shame. I see the dominos and compositional scratches but I’m sure that is not what you are talking about. Is it ply?
Yay, I think it is plywood. It’s great to work on, no matter what mood one is in. ;.)
Very very your look! I can’t see a lot of scratch work either but judging by your expertise with “real” texturing, I know is is even better in person. Always happily startled by your color combos and whimsy
I use to give them a couple of layers of gloss but they are photographed without. So, when finished the textures are visible but your fingers can’t feel it. :-)

The sense of balance in this is remarkable. In color, proportion and tone. Stunning.
