I love this picture of my two babies outside an old barn, if only you knew what they were doing to each other before I caught this moment – pinching, poking and whining!! I gave it a bit of a moody look in Lightroom as I thought they looked like little orphan children!

Taken with a Canon EOS 450D
Shutter 1/60
Aperture F5.6
ISO 200
Focal length 28mm

Beautiful shot Emma, and don’t they know mum’s caught them out. The body language says so much. Combining that with the subtle Lightroom treatment creates and completes the emotion of the moment. JP

  • Thanks so much John for your very kind comment :o)

They look like little angels! I´ve got 3 boys like that! They punch, shout, argue …. but I´ve got some angel like pics of them too!
Although I must admit, they can be very loving to each other.

  • Thanks en-joy – you got it in one!!

beautiful childhood capture & keepsake Emma – beautifully composed – love the memory attached to the image that you can share in the future of how they were pinching, poking & whining – love it – CONGRATS on the feature also !!!! Back on line now – so excited to be reconnected. I went to the final year students exhibition for my photography course last night – really inspirational – blows my mind !!! p.s – love your new profile pic – BEAUTIFUL :)

  • Yay your back online!! I would looove to see the work from your class exhibituon, if yours is anything to go by the quality must be amazing – is there a website? … oh yeah the profile pic – i’m much happier with this one ;o) I put the other one up temporarily, it was horrible but the only pic I could find of myself (you know how it is being the family photographer, always behind the lens!!) – and it ended up being there for months!! Finally I decided to try out a selfie to replace it, and i really am not a selfie type – far too self conscious! It was so difficult as I didn’t have a remote!! Funnily enough I just treated myself to a remote today (and a lovely new 50mm lens – yay!) so maybe I will try out some more selfies one of these days… xx
