Speaking of words, is anyone else reading the dictionary tonight? Word of the day (on dictionary.com) is spoonerism. I like that word – sounds like it should be dirty – and it almost equals my fondness for the word tautology. But more than both those words, I love actual spoonerisms.
“I’ve lost the fleas to my kat” she cried in the native tongue of spoonerism.
Ah yes, I’m young, I’m single, it’s Friday night and I’m reading the bloody dictionary.

Did you see the episode of “Extras” where Ricky Gervases friend is reading the phonebook and pretending she has somebody elses name and how funny that would be! Life, got to love it.

Why wouldn’t you read the dictionary? It’s probably from school, when if you wanted to know how to spell a word you were told to look it up in the dictionary. Do you know how many years it took me to find the word cortisone? (and it’s pronounced quartizone)
