
The view from Enumclaw, WA
Mt. Rainier is a massive stratovolcano, considered one of the most dangerous in the world. Located about 54 miles southeast of Seattle, it’s the most prominent mountain in the contiguous US at 14,411 feet elevation.
Nikon D90 used with a 18-105mm lens.

Great shot of The Mountain. I love the atmospheric quality of the middle distance, with Rainier looming over: it really emphasizes the size.
