Drink Driving, Version 2.

The man was in a car crash:
Glass had pierced his heart.
The paramedics tried to save him but
It was pointless from the start.

The driver of the car was speeding,
She’d had a drop to drink.
Her reactions were a lot slower and
She found it hard to think.

The family of the man who died
Charged the driver and sued.
The driver pleaded not guilty
In the chaos that ensued.

The moral of the poem is:
Please don’t drink and drive.
Although it may not seem so bad,
You’ll end up paying with lives.
