a whirling
vortex
of charged emotion
that races through
the pathways
of your mind
and crackles onto paper
burning its electric brilliance
onto the waiting page
cutting to the bare bones
of the soul
and the spirit
asking questions about
things i never knew
giving answers
to things i thought i did
enlightening
