of unborn generations
whose minds linger yet
in the secret places
of our hearts

who are the embodiment
of our souls
our dreams and desires
given flesh and form
and life
we expect too much
and give too little
the sins of the fathers
rest heavily
upon your youthful
shoulders
and you hold
our Fate
tenderly clasped
in your cupped hands
ours was the Fall
but yours is the future
