colourblind

i’m colourblind
i don’t see
superficial differences
like skin
colour

black and
white
are words on paper
syllables
strung together
and nothing more
than clinging culture
trying to stay alive
in a changed world
this berlin wall
of race
is cracking

will it
crumble
down
in ruin?

It HAS to crumble down in ruin….I really think it will. We just have to make it happen. Love the message in this, my friend. I can relate. I think a fellow Bubbler, Colorblind would like this. :)

I’ve seen him around: he should read it ;)
Thank you, Erika. It is us who need to make a difference. The youth of today hold in their hands, the future of tomorrow.

i love this truly and i thank my friend erika15 for referring me to your lovely poem
and the wall shall crumble it has evidence of cracks and it falling to pieces
    seen in the
    bi racial children
the laughter of many variations of colors of children playing at parks
and by the friendships tying together no matter race or backgrounds
    smilez…...

    black and
    white
    are words on paper
    syllables
    strung together …..well said

truly love this …..reminds me of my latest poem i’ve posted “The Human Race”
    take care ….enjoyed reading this

I’m glad that you could read this, colorblind. With people like you in the world, I suspect that change for the better is inevitable. I’ll take a look at your poem: it sounds like something I’d like.
