This image stood out among the rest, on the site’s front page. This reminds me of the old stores in New York, back in the early 1900’s. I wasn’t born, but I remember looking at an old N.Y. history book with an image similar to this one. Awesome!!!

I love this, my grandfather had a similar store and similar look of contentment with his life as a shopkeeper. It is such a “feel good” photograph in so many ways, well done!

I love the colours and the patterns in this. It has a vintage feel to it that is so appealing.

I like this picture, it makes me think of early America town some where in the past, a simpler time, when people practice social grace, and you could leave your door unlocked with out worrying if some one was going to rob you or kill you. A time when town foke knew oneanother, and look out for eachother. Not like to day where people only pay attention to people who are on their speed dial list on their cell phone. Not me, I try to spark up a conversation with who ever is standing in line next to me. Sometimes people are so supprised that a stranger is try to be friendly to them, they look at me as if I where a green spoted purple people eater.
