The poetry found here is a reflection and depiction of living with the disease – or at least my perception of it….
Throughout my life my poems have been an extensive form of healing and recovery..which I hope will lend some comfort as well as joy to some of you who may suffer from a touch of the ‘melancholic temperament’
I have travelled extensively and the aspects I truly love of life aren’t the material riches that may come and go…but those precious gifts we often miss that make life the amazing experience it should be… gifts you can not purchase….
Most ‘artists’ or real people of talent … if you look a little closer actually suffer from ’the pain and suffering of their melancholy – hence the amazing passion in their genre of expression…..
The expression of this gift and curse which run in tandem……
