Elsh, this is an incredible portrait. Kafka is still very new to me, I just finished “The Metamorphosis” – got any recomendations ?
Robert Knapman
Great work here elsh. I am a fan. Thanks.

hey sjem, i find kafka hard. not in a literary sense but in a get to the point already sense. but it is this element that brings me back agian and again. somehow he manages to build a total sense of alienation and anxiety without divulging much at all. kind of like the david lynch of writing. anyway, all that said, ‘the castle’ still remains one of my favourite all time works of fiction. quite perplexing, very isolating, it questions freedom and fear and sets up a mood rarely achieved by a book.
misskat
