This unusual piece is bright and happy to say the least! It wins art contests – and it wins friends! – both for the art style and also for the fun that it evokes!! Fun and MORE fun!!

Colorful. Full of textures and motion that is magical, “Martini Madness” is a whimsical and playful piece. Highlights flicker and glisten on the wet glasses, calling attention to the lively atmosphere that surrounds companions enjoying one another’s company. A bit of conversation, a pat on the shoulder, and a firm handshake of welcome – these are the highlights of an evening spent among friends.
…………………………………………………………………………………………………………..
Almost surreal, the cocktail glasses are personified as they float about as if dancing to their own beat. Their bright colors include blue, turquoise, red, teal, apricot, green, and burgundy, detailed with gold and silver as any fine glass would be. The mixed media for this piece includes watercolor and acrylic. Laid on layer by layer with a palette knife, the glass colors add depth and dimension to the work. Fine details were added with a small brush.
……………………..
Olives and limes adorn the glasses and silk ribbons twirl about. Wow! What a party! Cares are left behind and smiles soon take their place. What makes it happen? No, not the martini. Not even the beautiful glasses. And it’s not the ribbon. The magic lies in friendships.
……………….
This beautiful piece is contemporary, modern, perhaps a bit abstract; but above all, lots of fun! Swirls and turns abound, much like glasses dancing in the air. There’s music in the glasses – happy tones that beat out a melody pulsating with all the vigor of life. Tinker, twirl, tap and turn – take a hint from the twirling glasses – listen for the beat and then do a little dance! Join the party! Enjoy the fun.
