The peacock was on the roof of the owl house, just wandering around, as you do… but took a sudden interest in my lens, which to be fair, WAS pointed in his direction. I tried not to jump too much and stood still until it got bored.. but I DID manage to get this one shot.

Canon 400d, 75-300mm lens.
Exposure and saturation changed MINIMALLY to compensate for the fact that his face was on the lens and blocked out most of the light :-P
