I saw this amongst my other photographs from this day and was surprised that it had not caught my attention before.

In Deen City Farm there is a little garden… some of the largest poppies I have ever seen… but being February many were still closed and waiting to… well… popp.

Deen City Farm is located in Merton near Wimbledon, has free admission and relies solely on volunteers and donations.

There is a small amount of Government funding but there is a proposal to cut the funding… please take a moment to look at and possibly sign the petition to Merton Council here Thank you!!
