Pilots in the Solent by ellismorleyphto
So this pilot ship was guiding us between Hampshire and the Isle of Wight. I have never found out why they cannot go via Bournemouth (ie Westward) to save the guided tour but I am sure there is a good reason somewhere.
Onboard the QE2 heading towards Iceland, eventually.

Thank you! I was very lucky, given the limitations of the camera :-) Yes, you read right, I was… good timing too as they took it, sorry, her, out of service a short time later. She looked a lot more beautiful on the outside though…
Beauty there was indeed only skin deep… I have a photo where there was a chunk missing from a guard rail too ;-)
