OK as the group is new, I shall add this at the top of the description…
OK here is a Jackdaw, on a rubbish bin/trash can in the main square of Gävle in Sweden. In Swedish the bird is a kaja and in the back you can see an Interflora and a Java coffeehouse.
Based on either that or your OWN inspiration and ideas, think of some captions!
Out of all of your entries, 1 or 2 favourites from each person shall be chosen, then the entries will go to anonymous vote in this group, in Theme Thursday and with permission another forum.
Tallied up, the caption with the most votes wins.
Here is an example with a clickable image.
Questions? Post here or in Bubblemail! Now…. go! :-D

I am not sure what this bird is, either in Swedish or in English. I would like to say crow or rook or raven but I do not know. The 1st person to enlighten me will get a permanent link on this page.
UPDATE Thanks to Wikipedia having a full range of every bird known to exist in the wild in Sweden, we have a winner…. a Jackdaw (Kaja in Swedish just btw).
CONFIRMED! As I was writing that, Marjolein Katsma was kindly telling me that this was, in fact, a jackdaw. :-D (Thankyou!!)
As for the “untitled”, don’t worry about that for now. There is method in my madness, we just need to wait a while longer! :-D
Yes, this was taken in Sweden… did you not realise that “Java CoffeeShop” was a very common Swedish phrase? No? Ah well.
Gävle had very “British” weather in the time I was there. A lot of rain on and off and predominently white sky with shades of grey and occasional blues.
I had a LOT of bad luck there, expensive and otherwise so I will not go back (I think) to try again with the images. Hmm.
I was in Gävle to pay respects to and get closure about my friend Thom who passed away almost 2 years before this. You can see some of “Thom’s Photos” throughout my gallery :-)
