The chickens were restless… the farm had just opened its gates to the public and it was also feeding time… yes lots of thoughts like “chicken feed” went through my head.
I was able to get some overhead shots of them, making the chickenwire “disappear” ahhhh I like my camera’s ability to do that, hehe…. until they decided that “Oooh! A human! Let’s run right up to the wire and not let them take photos and see if they have food” Harumph.
Not to worry, I like this shot anyway. Hope you do too :-)
Deen City Farm is located in Merton near Wimbledon, has free admission and relies solely on volunteers and donations.
There is a small amount of Government funding but there is a proposal to cut the funding… please take a moment to look at and possibly sign the petition to Merton Council here Thank you!!
