In the churchyard where my friend will be remembered forever, I saw this flower. I thought it looked so different from all the others. The moment I saw this again, I thought “Thom”. For that reason, this becomes “Thom’s Photo 3”.

Sandviken, Sweden. June 2007.

Canon IXUS 850is.

I use no post processing of any kind, unless stated.

Featured in Theme Thursday this fortnight is JOHN VELOCCI – He has curated the TTFF-@ folder on my profile and has been highlighted in the TTFF group. Yay, John! :-)

Are these the purple flowers you mentioned? Lovey! I would be missing their vibrant company too. :)

  • not sure… when did I mention purple flowers? :-P

Ah yes, no, I meant from the Jacaranda trees. I meant that I missed having purple trees in my life :-) I am quite sure I wrote flowers though, my mind was certainly elsewhere :-)

These flowers do look vibrant, don’t they? I think that from a “normal” position they look more green but with a camera in hand you can find the colour :-P I only now get the irony that something so colourful is growing there, where people go to mourn :-)

    Thankyou for stopping by!

Lovely shot and love the back ground and the look like trees well done love the low shot

  • Hehe, I guess they do! I never thought of it!

It was right at the side or back of this chapel, hence the weird two tone or pebble effect behind the “trees” :-)
