Well a trip to York and a 2 hour (???) bus ride (maybe 1 hour each way?) to Pickering and a short walk through the village and you might get to do that! :-) I would suggest a group meeting there but you know……… Seriously though it IS doable in a day from London to go up there and over to whitby on the train and back… just sayin’.
