… I can see why Postman Pat might be confused! Well, while the photograph shows a rural looking street from yesteryear, on my side of the road was Kings College and not far away was the city of Aberdeen.
If I did not have a penpal in Aberdeen who took me on a bus ride to here, I would never have heard of this area, let alone got some photographs.
I really must return one day when it is above zero and not raining ;-)
_Old Aberdeen is part of the city of Aberdeen in Scotland. Old Aberdeen was originally a separate burgh, which was erected into a burgh of barony on 26 December 1489. It was incorporated into adjacent Aberdeen by Act of Parliament in 1891. It retains the status of a community council area.1
