Wolf fish in Lofoten Aquarium, Norway.

Funny story… the fish refused to move. I got plenty of pictures of the one on top. I got bored of him and started to take a photo of the other, slightly different coloured one.

The one on top was having none of it, zoomed round the back of the other fish and bam plonked himself right on top of him… hehe…. still, I am very glad he did, this is one of my favourite photographs in my collection.

Lofoten Aquarium, Kabelvåg, North Norway. June 2006.

Canon 400d 18-55mm lens (I shall confirm this)

NO FLASH. I cannot stress enough… flash hurts fish. Just don’t. See a longer moan about this on one of my snake photographs :-P

I use no post-processing of any kind, unless stated.

Here is the cheeky guy before he went for his zoom around the tank…

Something very fishy about such behaviour! Love the shot.

  • hehe… yes, he was so funny. Every time I see a wolf fish now I always remember this cheeky guy. Seriously, none of them wanted to move, but the second that I got bored of him he was having none of it :-P Thanks for your comments x

Great capture, the one on the bottom doesn’t look too happy. LOL

  • Thanks… hmmm.. he wasn’t… he was at the top of the pile of fish until the “centre of attention” guy decided “no……. you will not walk away.”. I honestly thought he was fed up with me taking the photographs, that is of course until I tried to see his tank-mates ;-) I feel most sorry for the one right at the bottom who now has 2 fish on him!!
