Hah! Got you! You thought you would see a photo of me. Sorry to disappoint but after several years of a photo of my turkey-self (with a brief jaunt as a giraffe, which was a nice change of perspective, being so much higher off the ground (both as I was a Taronga Zoo giraffe rather than a Churchill Island bird and because of my stature) if nothing else…) I decided to bite the bullet and see how much harder it was to draw a turkey than an otter, for example. Well, it was quite a lot harder… but as you can see, turkey’s are smart, look at those lines, our brains are clearly showing through as they are so huge and I figured out where I went wrong, around my jaw and fixed it ENOUGH that I was happy to share.
Anyway, hope you like it. I am sure I shall be back in all my colourful photographic glory for now but right now, I just want to share some sketches. Striking while the lightning, or inspiration at least, hits. It’s not a common occurrence by a LONG shot.
Gobble gooble guh.
