i love the smell of rain, as it soaks into the brick and asphalt.
and the darkness, why can it be somewhat comforting?
perhaps it’s the light, like a security blanket.
i like this a lot, Megan. it found myself making up a little story in my mind…

if you love the smell of rain – you would love portland! ;-) for me, I love what rain does to a photograph because it takes the everyday and creates something new and it makes all the separate things into one – it connects it all. and – it creates drama where none existed.
