An excellent, sharp monochrome image with good contrast. The picture makes me think about symmetry – there is the obvious symmetry in the foreground and symmetry of a different sort in the background – not a left-right symmetry, but one of purpose. The perspective in this view gives a great feeling of depth.

Well framed. – lot’s of interesting stuff going on in this one.

Excellent POV. The use of natural framing is very well done.

a friend was kind enough to give me a tour of the shipyard and crazy enough to let me go up on the crane!

Great capture. There is a lot of sacred geometry in this.

thanks! the way you analyze photos reminds me of analyzing dreams. i love it. someone once said (wish i could remember who) that every work an artist creates is really a self portrait. every image is a reflection of who we are. i believe every image represents a side of us and perhaps not only who we are in the moment, but where we want to go. anyway, thanks for making me think.

thanks, benjamin! i have a definite fondness of patterns, made by man or nature.

Great shot. Wonderful angle and I love how you’ve sort of framed it up with the structure in the foreground.
