I’m an archaeologist whose interests centre on ancient landscapes and European later prehistory, particularly the neolithic and bronze ages. I’ve been involved with investigations of Avebury in Wiltshire, various landscapes in southern Iberia and – most recently – in the Balaerics.

Once upon a time, though, I was a keen student photojournalist and President of the Photographic Society of University College Cardiff. I’ve always maintained that interest in photography, particularly architectural and archaeological subjects, alongside my University career. I have recently been spending some time on wildlife photography, which was one of my first interests.
