I visited NYC recently and made a trip to the Guggenheim Museum. I’ve always been fascinated with the building itself, a Frank Lloyd Wright creation from the 1940’s. It is so different than the skyscrapers and concrete structures all around it. The abstract art inside the building, inspired me to photograph portions of the building outside. Each individual image is an abstract composition, and when pieced all together, they become the essence of Frank Lloyd Wrights vision.

I have been an elementary art teacher in Savannah, Georgia for over 20 years. I still love what I do and am inspired by my students each and every day. I teach in an inner city school, grades K- 5. Many of my students struggle with hardships and family crises. The smiles I see in my art room remind me that art brings joy to their lives.
