Hi Angelique, I never use a tripod for these photo’s, because these rats move all the time….I take lots of photo’s and hope one will come out good enough. With this photo i had not enough light, i wished it was a bit lighter. Thanks!

Ellen, I think this shot is just right. The depth of field is good giving blur to body and feet, but achieving sharp focus on the face hands and horn. Also, the contrast between the dark horn and the white rat is striking. You got good balance between the background and the subject. Great shot.
