I haven’t seen a sparrow where I live for a good few years now; they used to be everywhere. I miss their gabbling in the evening when they gather to roost.

Oh what a sweety! It’s got such a pleasant face, looks like it’s smiling. I know sparrows aren’t the most glamorous or colourful birds but they’ve always been my favourite. ;o)
