This reminds me of my grandmother who passed many, many years ago….this photo is so precious and is an image I think will do well in many different avenues…. My father turns 88 this year and remarried only one a half years ago… my mother passed in 2000…. he looks great for his age though.

Fantastic. You are very lucky to have a friend that age. My dear friend passed away 6 years ago. She would have turned 100 on July 8th.

I have just woken up, this morning, on the 14th of July, 2009 and it’s now really my father’s 92nd birthday. Age is very much on my mind. I agree with all the comments above. It’s such a small world. Gouda was such a small town, when we left, in 1956. All the names you mentioned elsewhere are familiar to me.
I’m very much thinking about Opa “Dikke Jan” Mul, right now, who had a café, Lange Tiendeweg 4, in Gouda.
Love the routine of having the fresh orange juice. Must taste better than any other!

Its so uncanny….....Mary looks just like my Mum who is 92….Mum stands just like that, resting her hands when she is at her table…. Also Mum has lots of knick knacks in her home….which she loves to talk about, probably Mary does too. This is such a lovely photo of such a lovely lady…...........well done Ellen…..........jacquei

Oh My God, my Aunty and Uncle lived (they have now both passed) in St Pauls Bay and their home looked just like this with stairs up to the roof where they kept their birds. This is so similar it gave me chills. I have a few photos but of very poor quality.
