The whole rainbow was not enough to describe the vitality and poignancy and overwhelming wonder of seeing that funny squishy lil mottled newborn for the first time :)
cheers Loui – is a little sentimental – but don’t understand why this is soooo forbidden in art – I love some sentimentality particularly Bonnard’s paintings of his little wifey in her pretty little shoes and nothing else :) so private and domestic… sigh :)

there is no way of capturing the aura of seeing your baby out in the real world! Thought I had to use the whole rainbow to try and describe it :)
