people experience such different reactions to pregnancy….how is your hair? I had a huge uncontrollable mane, a haystack even (I wish I still had it actually!)

  • they sure do! I am far from one of those radiant mums to be – more like Miss elephantiasis :)
Oh and my hair! eeeeeeeeek the dandruff! In this heat it is perpetually up in a bun :)

    glowing with pride maybe?
should one be offering congratulations elle?
becoming a parent changes life totally and usually for the good
hormonal changs makes us think and feel differently
but as a species we are very adaptable
good luck and i`m sure you will have a bonny baby

  • more glowing with sleep deprivation :)
and yes… i have been quietly warming a bun in the oven… with any luck not Rosemary’s baby given it seems bub wants to burst into the world via my rib cage. Yes we are adaptable… and yes becoming a parent requires much change :) thanks Charlie x

hmmmm how funny ….its going to be ellejayroses` baby not rosmarys,….sounds like the babies kicking, thats generally a good sign,it usually means you will both have a strong bond, when he or she decides to put in appearance
again i wish you both all the best

  • appearance is expected four weeks from now… though don’t think she is keen to wait that long :)

not far away then elle …..,my best advice would be is to try and remain calm and relaxed…..and try not to feel tense or apprehensive about the birth also if possible try to enjoy the birth
i was present at my sons birth and i alway believe the mother should be supported and made as comfortable as possible and she should be the one who decides what type of bith she wants, natural or hospital it should be her decision because after all she is the one having the baby so her wishes should come first, i hope everything goes smoothly for you
