Bloggers’ Bliss — See our streetwear come to life
From the book i plan to self-publish through blurb titled: “It’s a mental bed, it is a bed i am accustomed to…”
ah you and Miss Otis – and me!
i really wish i could get a permanent residence in a pretty little aristocratic mental health farm where they bring me grapes and crayons and let me scribble on the walls… of course… if i am allowed visitors i expect u and paul compton to come visit sneaking me 80’s vinyl, hockney’s portraits and bottles of red :)
This has been anonging dream of mine – just give me a nice walled garden, some paints, drugs and food and I will promise ot be quiet and behave. If you get there first for sure – 80s music (on REAL albums), red wine and Hockney art along with Mr Compton will be brought :) – I will bake them all in cake if I have to smuggle!
an asylum of our own makingwhat a wonderful conceptkeep the sane ones inand the mad ones outyou can be an inspiration at times ellethanks
working freelance from home can be a saviour in said times – though finding motivation to do anything more than pull the covers further over the head may be a struggle :)
Its a strange thing art and life…I always wanted to live by my art but its a tough way to live..perhaps i was never really strong enough to let go of the familiar and that work ethic thing…you just expressed something from my past…keep struggling dont give up live the dream.
art is a dangerous occupation :) at once healing and opening up some gaping wound :) I tend to take on as compatible day job stuff as possible – just completed secondary art teaching diploma but will work casual with that so i can float in and avoid education politics as much as possible
Oh yes avoid them like the plague..politics in work is like death !
