While this work in traditional representational style is depicting a beautiful country scene in early morning light, it is designed to be a comment on two common responses humans have when we are gifted with something… - 1. We can lock it away for exclusive use by those who control ‘the keys’ - 2. We can treat it with respect and see ourselves as compassionate stewards who care for it and share it.
This raises the question of what is legitimate authority of course…
Ta Shanina, had to get up predawn to get the atmosphere. It was actually in drought but I’ve seen this valley even greener that shown. I did a lot of climbing and exploring of these hills as a junior.
I’ve only just realized that we can have more than four favourites!!!!!!!!!!!! Obviously new to this so I’ve just been enjoying your enormous collection Shanina.
