I started taking photos after degenerative disc disease and surgery in 2001 left me with limited mobility. My husband gave me a digital camera for my birthday and I was instantly hooked! Since I could not get around very well, I mostly took pictures of family and things around me at home. My horizons are gradually expanding, along with my skills. The above quote is there to remind myself to continually work hard at improving in all aspects of my life and to help others in whatever way I can.
