Cactus Bloom in Sepia by

Reworking of a colour image. I seem to be going through a monochrome phase – what’s it all mean, doc?

About Ellen Cotton

I moved to California from Canada and the colours of this lush landscape never cease to inspire me. To me a photograph is just the beginning of a work of art and I love to bring out the feeling of a subject through textures, layers and manipulations. I use black & white either to create a mood or to enhance the emphasis on the form of the subject. I also professionally restore old photographs and can be contacted by email for any requests in this regard.
