The Talking Stick is a tool used in many Native American Traditions when a council is called…
We used it in our circles and I also used the talking stick in every ceremony and Rite of Passage like baby naming, weddings etc…
It allows everyone to share and or express their feelings and point of view without being interrupted by the others …it truly crates a sacred space for honouring and respecting each one in the circle and at ceremonies.
The gourds are wonderful objects that can be painted and used for drink vessels or bowls, depending on size and shape.
I painted one of the gourd after a “Mother- Daughter “ Puberty Rite Celebration at a Waldorf school (Rudolf Steiner school) Each one of the 21 children that were present are painted on the gourd.
The red gourd was a present from one of my daughters to honour the path of the feminine…
The Cobra the Ointment jar the Crystal and the Lingam stone are all symbols that I like to work with
