Nik is my friend too :)
I love this Ell. Shapes, dappled sunlight, our Melbourne, beautiful.

  • Nik is a recently acquired friend, Maree – and very much valued! :-))

Ah ha! The unveiling! Love this one Elle. Was this an IR one? You have me intrigued about this. I just checked out what Lightroom does when you apply the B+W Infrared filter and it appears to be a sort of “virtual” IR – it adjusts the colour slides to specific positions. Fascinating stuff.

  • Yes, unveiling, spurred on by Mick’s comment in my image journal :-)
No IR on this one, it did ‘horrible’ things to this so it’s ‘just’ a straight RAW conversion, with a little tweak in Nik … glad to have been able to pique your interest in “virtual” IR, in the absence of a dedicated IR camera or film, Rhoufi :-))

Fantasic shot! Must be running late, alone again, lost in thought, etc. evokes many interpretations
