great shot…so hard to get the train shots right with the changing light, movement and an enclosed area so getting busted taking a photo there is nowhere to back up to…well done :-)

  • Andrew, thank you so much for appreciating the difficulties of ‘capture’ :-))
.. didn’t get busted (this time!) but did have to wait for her to plug into her iPod and get comfy (distracted) with her map ;-)

Maps? What are those things?! Another lovely observation photo Ell.

  • Heheheheee :-D … our tourist maps saved our butts several times ;-)
especially in the twisty confusing streets and canals of Venezia!
Thank you for the comment, Jazz :-)))

ah yes, Ell, this is one I really like, the light falling just right onto the subject matter (another expression for the cute girl) – and light falling on the arm rest in the right foreground, repeated almost in a straight line to the rear.

Gosh I’m so enjoying these b&w’s of yours – the simple, candid moments you catch are lovely and you always find beautiful light. Great work!

  • Damienne, your thoughtful comments make my heart sing and face smile :-D
This ‘style’ of photog is what I enjoy so much – people just being people … thank you! :-))
‘Seeing the light’ I sincerely owe to Ralph Olsson from well over a year ago now, when I first joined RB :-)))
