Wonderfully composed with excellent perspective and leading lines.

  • Thank you very much Kurt :o)
Leaning over a railing doesn’t present the easiest point to comp from! ;o)))

_ spied this well dressed couple …_ and took an amazing picture that is evocative with dramatic light because it doesn’t show any colour.

  • Thank you oh so much Faul, always get a big smile from your comments! :-D

This really is a winner Ell – a magnificient find. Hope you get the accolades you so obviously deserve. You know, I think he has the demeanour of someone about to propose – what do you think?
  • Awww, thank you very much Geof, see what happens, eh :o)

Hmm, would have stuck around for a ‘proposal’, to see a well-suited bended knee on that grime ;o)))

Fantastic shot Ell…hilarious title….didn’t know it was called Rutledge Lane…cool…I love this in B&W

  • Thank you Kate :o) Love the colour of this place, but can be a bit overpowering, just mildly! :-o
Had a bit of fun with a few titles over here as well ;o))

Oh, you are wicked! LMAO. But what a wonderful alley! It would stand on its own as a magnificent shot – even without the couple – but they do add to the odd moment.
How about this: “Yes, I’m pretty sure my mother said to meet her here. Why?” LOL.

  • Moi? Wicked? Noooo, never!!! ;o)))
But, takes one to know one!! :-D
The graffiti here AE is just amazing! It’s one of the few places in Melb where this sort of art is not frowned upon … you almost need sunglasses for this place it’s so brightly coloured! Small sample here and here :o))

Love this Ell, the POV is so different and engaging, and I love the organised chaos that the graffitied Hosier Lane has, in such contradiction to the elegant couple, it’s so intriguing too, they seem to be waiting for something or someone

  • Hehe, didn’t know chaos could be ‘organised’ ;o)))
Waiting? Well, funny you should ‘ask’, have another version of this story , after the suggestion by Geof ^ ^ that perhaps he was about to pop the question :o)))
    Thanks heaps Jus :-D
