Not great comp and it’s crooked (grr!) but just had to share!!

This fabulous fellow, busking outside Flinders Street Station, made up the wittiest funniest little ditties as he went along! Sooooo clever! Had his audience captivated, including me, that I nearly forgot to take a snap or two … and two was all I got ;)

Capturing people being people, and the finer details of four and two wheeled blingy classic automotives – two fave ‘topics’ of imagery :-))

another successful day in the city Ell !!!! What a prize, this one really caps it off – your notes make me wish I’d heard him – he’s got a terrific expression (and I see nothing wrong with the comp or the angle.)

  • Hehee, thanks so much Geof, tho the perfectionist in me would at least like to see it straight!! ;-)
This dude was just amazing! Had a silly smile on my face, and watched others in his audience giggling away, smiling their faces off too! Bl@@dy fantastic! :D

Yes I am hard on self, it’s the foible/fault of being a tad too much of a perfectionist ;o))

This is UNREAL! That’s a 5-string kick-butt bass, played by what appears to be a blues guitarist from the 30’s, and he did it while improvising tunes?!? 2 Kewl!

As for composition, if you’d worked at this shot you’d have missed it. This is perfection. Many a purist will point to different aspects of the shot and have something profound to say. Each and every one of them will be a critic and not an Artist. I can see this winning a Blue Ribbon at some fair or being included in a tabletop book of great candid images!

  • Awww WOW Lenny, I’m SO glad you dropped by this image to comment! :D
Wouldn’t have a clue about that bass if not for you (I’ve read your bio!)

This fella was just bl@@dy awesome, I hope he’s streetside next time I wander past, will pay a lot more attention to bass/player, thanks to you :o))

Street-candid is something I enjoy, so am heartened by your comments – thanks ever so much! :o)))

  • Ohh he was having a fun time alright, BK :o))
especially if a young pretty girl went past, he would change his ditty accordingly! Complimentary of course!! :-D
    Thanks so much!! :o)))
